Developmental updates
The last few days Christopher seems to understand that his hand is attached to his body. He looks at the stuff we have dangling above him, and from time to time whacks something with his hand. He still hasn’t grabbed anything yet.
He’s also smiling at us more, and making a lot of noise. Sometimes he spews out full sentences of gibberish. Mostly when he wants something now, instead of crying, he yells out. That’s good news, since it indicates that he’s probably hearing okay.
He’s also putting on a lot of weight still… Almost a pound a week so far. (Yes, that makes him 20 lbs at almost 3 months.) He’s also starting to outgrow his 6-9 month clothing.
