Category Order 1.9.4 Released
I’ve released a new version of the Category Order Wordpress 2 plugin. This plugin allows the blog administrator to set an explicit ordering, spacing, and indentation of categories in the category list that appears in the sidebar. The administrator specifies the ordering in the new “Category Order” management page. There is also an option for placing the category post count inside the link.
New changes:
- Fixed a problem where subcategories would not be displayed properly with their parent categories when the date and time permalink structure was in use.
A screenshot shows the management page. Download it on my code page.

david…
having problems with category manager in the latest wordpress install (203) - seems that the plugin is not recognizing indentation - i have a bunch of subcategories that fall under 1 of 2 parent categories, and i’m unable to indent anything - the only icons that show up are move up & down (both active & inactive) - the move left (inactive) shows up after every category, and the move right (both active & inactive) doesn;t show up at all…
have tried looking at this in both explorer & foxfire, but i get the same results…any ideas?? any plugin conflicts that you know of??
thanks…

Can you post a screenshot of your category order admin screen somewhere? I’ve never encountered missing icons on this screen.
